New Runners

Yesterday I got myself a pair of new runners. One that I fell in love with at first sight but the only turn-off is the price – RM 388.00 *gulps*

So I thought of just trying out Jusco because of the mega sales on. And guess what I got the exact pair I feel in love with for only RM388.00 RM 194.00. I got a lovely 50% off. WOW!!

Wondering why I’m so into getting a pair of runers??? Well yeah, some may think it’s just an addition to the shoe fetish of mine. True… No denial of that but also, I inspired by this woman……

She’s one of a kind woman… Look at her arms they are not flabby or skinny, but well toned. She doesn’t diet, she keeps a good and healthy diet.

I love her abs!!! Owhhhh you just got to look at it man..

I’m like kinda underweight. Good part is that diet is not a problem.. So I’m thinking of going for weight to tone and move with the treadmill.. At one point when I did some weights I saw myself more toned. But once I lapsed, I became like bamboo stick… hee hee….

Diamonds Are Girls’ Best Friends

Diamonds are girls’ best friend.  But I have learned and discovered that a girl’s best friend, is a Diamond.

I just want to dedicate this post to my one and only companion… who have journeyed with me all through my weary days of endless stories of my dark side, my pasts, my faults, my failures, my pain and my joy.

I do feel sorry many times for  unloading all the mess on you. I was reluctant in sharing with you those messes. My reluctance is not because i do not want you part of my life. But I felt guilty that this is too bad and i just cant bear to see you go through something that I myself don’t wish to be there. But however, in the midst of your constant assurance, i come to a point now to understand that the valleys and mountains on this journey are unavoidable. Scary as it may be, I will still have to go through it and face it but I this time, i am not alone… I have the greatest companion, on my journey.   And here I have no other words to expressed how much i appreciate you, and count you as my diamond. THANK YOU so much darl for being there.

Your Love that welcomes each of my fears, worries, griefs, in a loving embrace.

Your concern, that looks out for me, in a way that no one ever did

Every day i look at you, i don’t just see you. I see the sparkle in your life that makes me smile. Your weaknesses are just so small compare to the sparkles of love and care that shines out of you. Essence of Life

 

 

~EXAMINE THE TWO PICTURES~

 

PICTURE 1:

A beautiful songbird caged up. Though it has the ability to sing and chirp melodies that a common rooftop sparrow can’t; Though it has bright coloured feathers that the crows in the park wished they had; but what’s the point, if it’s caged up????

It can be admired by passer-bys, It can be used to wow the crowds with its abilities but at the end of the day, this beautiful creature created by God is denied of fullfilling its full potential of being able to fly free high above the treetops and rooftops; denied of flying with the other flocks of birds chirping choruses of melodies to its heart’s delight; denied of its beautiful habitat of green trees, calm brooks, rustling winds and the family of wildlife.

Here alone in its caged, helpless, wishing day and night to spread its wings; but  no matter how much it wishes to be what it was made to be, all it can do is hope and hope that one day a kind soul would unlatch and release it so that it may fly again.

From the bars of its cage, it can see the blue skies, it can see the the other birds though not as pretty as himself but they are flying free, it can feel the excitement of the outside world, it seems so real, it seem so close to it but just as it tries to flap its wings to taste that sweet reality that seems so close…..that poor creature hits hard against the bars of impossiblities and hopelessness.

Back to its position. The beautiful songbird is nothing but a caged up beauty – hopeless, helpless and bound.

 

 

PICTURE 2:

A little bird with pale, non-attractive feather that look quite untidy, nothing really special and significant about this bird. It may not turn heads as it flies by a crowd of people. But somehow, someone saw that there is a need for this little unattractive creature to be release to achieve it’s full potential it was made for.

Observe as that cage door is being opened, that brown bird wasted no time, to flap its wings, take off to heights that he never tried for so long, his head looking forward with anticipation at what he could only once wished and wished. No final glance backward at his cage. No contemplating on whether it would he would fail or succeed. It just flew, and flew high away and above!

It is now bound for the greatest adventure of its life. It would now be able to live life to its fullest. Enjoying the nature, experiencing the perilous journeys, overcoming many dangers of life, resting peacefully under the stars, free, free, at last till life’s final breath calls it home.

Reflect on your life….

Is it one that you discover that your dreams, potentials and abilities are caged up and confined, bound to a certain set of limitations and rules. And all you could do is reach your hands out and touch the world outside but could never step into that world. Wishing helplessly that one day hope would come by and be that dream releaser you’ve always prayed for.

Is your life one that has been noticed by someone of its potential and has motivated you to release those hidden dreams. Maybe even inspired you to take up the challenge to try greater heights, and explore the unknowns, encouraging you when you fall and celebrating your victories. Time-Opportunity

Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the “right or opportune moment” or in other words TIME!!

Kairos time is usually perceived as a time of crisis. The Chinese character for “crisis” is often claimed to be a combination of the characters for “danger” and “opportunity”, although this is not actually true. With this in mind, one has a possibility or opportunity of participating in a “new creation” in that time of crisis. One has the choice of danger or opportunity, a chance to build something new out of the old. Kairos time bridges the tearing down of the “old way” with the building of a “new way.”

According to ancient Greeks, Kairos was the god of the “fleeting moment”. AGreek sculptor Lysippos from Sikyon sculpted a bronze allegoric statue. The statue had wings on his feet, a long weird forelock of hair but the back of his head is bald. Below the statue there was these inscriptions..

 

Who and whence was the sculptor? From Sikyon.

And his name? Lysippos.

And who are you? Kairos -OPPORTUNITY .

And why you have a pair of wings on your feet? I fly with the wind.

And why does your hair hang over your face? For him who meets me to take me by the forelock.

And why, in Heaven’s name, is the back of your head bald? So none would take hold of me from behind when I have swiftly passed them by.

Why did the artist fashion you? For your sake, stranger.

How true. Time comes swiftly to us is either we seize it by its forelocks. or else when it passed us by we will never be able to take hold of it again.

A concept similar to Kairos is that behind the famous motto “Carpe Diem” which means “seize the day”.

So seize the Time and Opportunity that come by you. Evry morning we are Given time and opportunity, use evry ounce of it. Because by night fall. what ever time and ooportunity that is not used will be count as lost and cannot be recollected.
